Hi, I'm Liz. I'm an author, journalist, columnist and asker of both deep and dopey questions. I have a lot of interests and love translating what I discover into a really fun read.
I'm the founding writer of National Geographic's Weird Animal Question of the Week, and in my 26 years (!!!) as a freelance writer, my stories have appeared in over 20 publications including Salon, Glamour, The Washington Post, Details, Huffington Post, the Orlando Weekly, Orlando Sentinel and the Toronto Sun.
I also podcast, write plays and fiction, and get out of Florida whenever possible (see Bio).
Sex, species and relationships are my specialties, but if I'm curious enough (or the price is right), I'll write about anything!
